DESCRIPTION:February 4-6\, 2022\, Balmoral is offering a weekend-long Winter Workshop for Pipers. Workshop attendees receive instruction on the Great Highland pipes and Scottish smallpipes. Our guest piping instructors for 2022 will be Roddy MacLeod\, Andrew Carlisle\, Bruce Gandy\, and Robert Mathieson. All instructors have won major awards and have incomparable records of teaching and promoting pipe music around the world. \nA big part of the Balmoral experience is our community. Even in our online schools\, we plan to give our students the opportunity to network\, as well as make friends who share a common interest in piping and drumming. SUMMARY:Army Piping And Drumming Championships 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming will be hosting the Army Piping and Drumming Championships on 26th – 27th of February\nAn opportunity for pipers and drummers from across all the Regiments of the British Army to compete against each other in Solo Piping\, Solo Drumming and Bugling. On Saturday 26th all solo events will take place and on Sunday the 27th we will have a mini band contest.\nLast year we introduced some new events to the line up:\nVeteran’s piobaireachd\nVeteran’s March\nVeteran’s strathspey and reel\nVeteran’s drumming MSR contest.\nThe new events are open to all ex serving pipers and drummers.
