The arrangements, specially crafted by award-winning musician Brìghde Chaimbeul for C smallpipes and violin, blend the pipes with Benedetti’s expressive violin playing. These pieces, which appear on Benedetti’s new album Violin Cafe, showcase a blend of traditional and classical music.

Benedetti’s 14-date tour across the UK and Ireland features a program mixing solo violin works with shorter romantic, virtuosic, and folk-inspired selections. The Scottish smallpipes element adds a distinctive cultural layer to the tour. While Brìghde Chaimbeul performs the arrangements in Belfast, Fin Moore takes the spotlight in Glasgow and London, highlighting the warm, resonant tone of the smallpipes in C alongside Benedetti’s violin.

The concerts maintain an intimate atmosphere, with Benedetti sharing the stage with trusted collaborators: guitarist Plínio Fernandes, accordionist Samuele Telari, cellist Maxim Calver, and violinists Emma Baird or Yume Fujise.
