The Scottish Pipers’ Association Juvenile competition will be held at the NPC Otago Street on the November 8, 2025. Entries close on Friday, October 31, at 17.00hrs. There are spaces available to both members and non-members who wish to enter. 

Events

All events have maximum cap of 20. Please note competitors cannot enter both events 4 & 5.*

  • Event 1 – 16-18 Years Piobaireachd (Submit 2 of Each)
  • Events 2&3 – 16-18 Years March, Strathspey & Reel (2 events) (Submit 2 of Each)
  • Event 4 – 15 and Under Piobaireachd Ground
  • Event 5 – 15 and Under Piobaireachd (Submit 1 of Each)
  • Events 6&7 – 15 and Under March, Strathspey & Reel (2 events) (Submit 1 of Each)
  • Events 8 – 18 and Under Jig (Submit 2 of Each)

The competition is sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society and McCallum Bagpipes. It is the first time the SPA Junior competition has been held in over two years, with the previous one being in March 2023. The SPA President, Logan Tannock, hopes to make it a regular date in the calendar again, as it was for many years pre-lockdown.
