
The 79th edition of the Glasgow Uist and Barra Association’s Piping Competition took place in The National Piping Centre’s Otago Street venue on Saturday, 7th March, 2026. The full list of competitors was: Callum Beaumont, Calum Brown, Sandy Cameron, Ben Duncan, Jamie Forrester, Finlay Johnston, Steven Leask, Angus D. MacColl, Sarah Muir, Connor Sinclair and Brodie Watson-Massey.

Finlay Johnston was the overall winner with his first place in the Piobaireach and second place in the MSR. Angus MacColl also had a successful day, winning the MSR, Hornpipe & Jig and a fourth place in the piobaireachd. The judges were Willie Morrison, Robert Wallace and Bill Wotherspoon.
