Ardrossan Highland Games

Always falling on the second Sunday in June, this year the date for the Ardrossan Highland Games is Sunday, June 11, 2023. The Games are held at the Memorial Playing Fields, Ardrossan, Ayrshire, KA22 8AP, and entries for the juvenile solo piping are open till June 3.

The fields are a short five minutes walk from Ardrossan South Beach train station, and the train journey from Glasgow Central is just a 40 minute ride down to the scenic Ayrshire coast. So with the solo piping starting at 11am, the 8.40am train from Glasgow Central will get you there in good time. There is also a 9.40am train if you like leaving things till the last minute.
