This year we have hugely increased the size of our variety stage, with Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Band & RetroGroove playing there during the day.
All events continue throughout the day (unless stated). During the day visit the Clans’ area to purchase Scottish souvenirs, check out your Genealogy, try Scottish food. Children’s entertainment is running throughout the day including Stilt Walkers, . Our new Highland Bar located next to the grandstand, with a great view of the main arena. We also have a market brimming with local products.

10.30am | Clans March inside the domain Followed by the Opening Ceremony of the 32nd Paeroa Highland Games & Tattoo is to take place in front of the Grandstand. It will commence with the singing of the New Zealand the unofficial Scottish anthem “Flower of Scotland”. |
11.00am – 5.00pm | Various Performers including Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Band, RetroGroove, Hazy and the Jays. Variety Stage. |
12 Noon onwards | Hauraki District Council – Pipe Bands Contest, adjacent to Band rotunda. Hear and see top Pipe Bands competing in their Sets & Medleys. |
4.30pm | SteamPunk Tartan, Variety Stage |
5.15pm | Street March, New route for the Street March ending with all of the Bands marching all the way into the Domain and through the castle. |
6.00 to 9.00pm | Evening Tattoo – 3 hour family spectacular! This years special guests are the Hogsnort Bulldogs Goodtime Band, RetroGroove, Hamilton Caledonian Pipe Band. We have 10 Pipe Bands taking part in this years Evening Tattoo, as well as the heaving weight event like the Caber Toss and Farmers Walk. |

The “O’Hagan Vision Care Paeroa” sponsored Solo Piping Competition will be held in conjunction with the Waikato Pipers Club.
This competition, for grades B, C, D and Novice will be the second part of a four competition series with the competitive best three scores going forward towards their final placings. Entry forms will be available from the Secretary or may be downloaded from the Entry Forms page.
This competition is held under the trees at the southern end of the Paeroa Domain adjacent to the Band Rotunda, and is a must for lovers of Scottish music.
