41st Nicol-Brown solo piping competition – 2024

The Nicol-Brown Contest is held annually on the Saturday before Columbus Day / Canadian Thanksgiving.

The 40th Nicol-Brown Amateur Invitational Contest in 2023 was held at St. Mark Presbyterian Church in Rockville, Maryland, hosted in partnership for the first time with the Institute of Musical Traditions. The weekend began with a judges’ recital on Friday evening, followed by the contest and award ceremony on Saturday, October 7.
