Young Stars piping summer school

The Young Stars piping schools are specifically targeted towards young pipers aged 17 and under.

The schools include:

• Group lessons

• Games

• Small practice groups

• Workshops

• Tuition time

• Talks

All of this will be tailored for young learners. It will be a great opportunity for young pipers to get together and have fun as well as learning more about the instrument. We wanted to create a place where they can develop their piping, with some exciting music to learn and meet other young pipers from across the country.

The schools will run daily from 9.00am-4.30pm for four or five days and cost £110 per place for tuition. For these schools, we would suggest a minimum age of 10 years old to be able to attend and get the most from the teaching. These schools could be run at either our City Centre – McPhater Street – venue or our West End – Otago Street–  venue. You will be informed before the course begins where it will be held.  There will be a music pack provided for each school.
