Young Stars Schools

The Young Stars piping schools are specifically targeted towards young pipers aged 17 and under.

Dates for 2019 are now confirmed as: 

Youngstars Spring School: 1st – 4th April 2019
Youngstars Summer School 1: 1st – 4th July 2019
Youngstars Summer School 2: 15th – 18th July 2019
Youngstars Autumn School: 14th – 17th October 2019

These schools will include

• Group lessons
• Games
• Small practice groups
• Workshops
• Tuition time
• Talks

All of this will be tailored for young learners. It will be a great opportunity for young pipers to get together and have fun as well as learning more about the instrument. We wanted to create a place where they can develop their piping, with some exciting music to learn and meet other young pipers from across the country.

The schools will run daily from 9am – 4.30pm for four or five days and cost £110 per place for tuition.

For these schools, we would suggest a minimum age of 10 years old to be able to attend and get the most from the teaching. However, please call us on 0141 353 0220 if you would like to discuss this further.

These schools could be run at either our City Centre – McPhater Street venue or our West End – Otago Street venue. You will be informed before te course begins where it will be held.

There will be a music pack provided for each school.
