Current World Champions, Inveraray & District Pipe Band will put on this year’s prestigious pre-Worlds concert at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on August 12.
The name of the concert is ‘A Night in That Land’. Inveraray last played at the Pre-Worlds concert in 2013 at the band’s ‘Ascension’ show. At that point it had been only eight years since the band’s formation in the Argyll village on the shores of Loch Fyne.
Pipe Major Stuart Liddell said: “We are delighted to be invited back by the Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band to perform at its Pre-Worlds concert. This is a highlight in the piping calendar and we look forward to entertaining the audience and sending them home happy”.

The Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band has been proudly producing the ‘Pre-Worlds’ concert since 1994. It aims to showcase the best pipe bands in the world to a local and international audience.
