Calum Brown won the last quarter final heat of the Scots Guards Association’s current Knockout series held yesterday at the Scots Guards Club in Haymarket, Edinburgh.

The Inveraray & District Pipe Band piper, a native of the northeast of Scotland, won over Bradley Parker, formerly of Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band,

The first semi final sees Angus MacColl Jnr. play against Brighde Chaimbeul (on Sunday, March 29). The second in an Inveraray battle between Calum Brown and John Dew on Sunday, April 26.

Both heats commence at 16:00. The date of the final has still to be determined.
