April 27, Glasgow, Scotland – The National Piping Centre won the Intimate Wedding Venue category at the 2020 Scottish Hotel Awards, which took place virtually last night.
The historic venue, in McPhater Street, is a unique wedding setting in the city centre. It also has a four-star hotel (with an award-winning chef*) as part of the building.
A spokesman said: “This is a wonderful award and recognises all the hard work that the wedding team put into making people’s dreams come true at this beautiful venue.
“It was especially timely as yesterday the team held its latest informal ‘Wedding Walkaround’ for couples that are planning their wedding to visit and see the venue for themselves. This was, of course, postponed and the team had recreated it virtually on social media.”
