The eight pipers going through to the final of the MacGregor Memorial are:

Liam MacDonald, Wellesley, Ontario, Canada;
Angus MacPhee, Inverness;
Henry Paluch, Aorora, Ontario, Canada
Anna Smart, Dunfermline;
Hazel Whyte, Larkhall;
Campbell Wilson. Christchurch, New Zealand.

Judges, Bill Livingstone and Stuart Samson MBE completed their adjudicating this weekend and reported a high standard in both heats with good quality recordings received. As required, Highland dress was worn by all competitors.

The date, time and format of the final is expected to be announced later this week.

The MacGregor Memorial is part of the Argllshire Gathering and is for pipers aged under 22. The number of competitors is usually capped at 30. The competition is sponsored by the Highland Society of London. The winner receives the College of Piping Salver plus a cheque for £100.
