2019 Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, Ross Miller is about to release a new collection.
The Roke Collection is now available to pre-order, priced £15.00 plus shipping. The Roke* is also the title of the CD Ross released last year.
Ross, a former Pipe Major of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland and who currently plays with Inveraray & District, says: “The book is available to exclusively pre-order through my website until March 31 with the official release date of April 30. Pre-order supporters will receive their copy prior to the release date.
“I have also made a video to celebrate one year of my album and this new release. The video features pipers from around the world”:
• Bagpipe.News will carry a review of Ross’ new book in due course.
* The Roke is the name of the ‘town tune’ of Linlithgow in West Lothian, Scotland where Ross Miller was brought up and where he is the official Town Piper. It’s also known as The Rock and the Wee Pickle Tow.
