Mark McClennan from Guelph in Ontario was the overall winner at the 2021 George Sherriff Memorial Invitational that took place virtually at the weekend.

It was the 25th anniversary of this popular competition for North America’s ten leading amateur pipers. The competition is named in honour of the Glasgow-born stalwart of Ontario piping, George Sherriff and organised by Bob Worrall.

Plans are to return to an ‘in person’ contest at the normal venue of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario next year.
