The CLASP ‘Live Online’ competition took place over the Zoom platform. Amateur pipers from all over the world joined to compete ‘live’ on Saturday, February 5 and captured their ‘live’ performance using a video recording device which was later sent to the judges. A special mention to the volunteer online stewards for the day: Gill Cairns, Anna Binder, Sally Mason, Caitlin Houlihan, Megan Kenney and Lou Reid.
The next CLASP competition is in-person and this will be the first in-person competition in two years. This event will be held in The National Piping Centre, Otago Street on Saturday, March 26, 2022. The next CLASP ‘Live Online’ competition is planned for Saturday, May 7, 2022. All CLASP competitions are open to adult amatuer pipers worldwide.
