Entries are now open for this year’s Atholl Gathering solo piping competitions. The entry form can be found here.

The competitions are open to those graded A/P, B and C for ceòl mòr by the Competing Pipers’ Association. The Light Music is open.

The Atholl Gathering will take place in the grounds of Blair Castle in Perthshire on May 29. It is always the first important solo piping competition of the Highland Games season. A large entry is anticipated.

The 2020 event was cancelled due to the on-going pandemic. The 2021 event took place entirely online. John Dew of Crieff, Scotland was the overall winner. The 2019 event was the last physical event. The overall winner that year was Sarah Muir.
