[post updated with photo] Sandy Cameron from Roy Bridge in Lochaber, Scotland was the overall winner at the Atholl Gathering, held today in dull weather conditions in the grounds of Blair Castle.

Sandy, pictured, placed second in the A Grade Ceòl Mòr, fifth in the MSR and third in the Jig, giving him the overall prize.

The number of pipers competing was down on previous years and there were a few call offs in the morning.
