After a two year break, The National Piping Centre have announced two weeks of Junior Gathering schools.  Dates for 2022 are now confirmed as Week 1: Mon 4th – Thu 7th July and Week 2: Mon 11th – Thu 14th July.

The timetables are renamed and revamped, and they now feature guest workshops and 1-to-1 teaching, as well as group teaching, practice time and more. These four day schools have been designed specifically for young pipers aged 17 and under to get together and learn more about their instrument. There are two teaching options with a half option for chanter and goose students and a full school option for those on pipes.

The schools may be run at TNPC City Centre (McPhater Street) or the NPC West End (Otago Street). You will be informed before the course begins where it will be held.  There will be a music pack provided for each school.

The schools cost £150 for the full four days or £80 for the half school option.
