Corgarff Games is this coming Saturday, June 11 at Castle Lodge Field, Corgarff. The Games field is about 100m after the sign for Cockbridge. Head for the Castle Park (right beside the A939), Corgarff. Solo Piping registration is 12.30, with events starting about 13.00.
Solo piping events are:
- Piobaireachid (17 and over) – 1st – £50, 2nd – £30, 3rd – £20.
All open events prize money is 1st – £30, 2nd – £20, 3rd – £10
- Open (17 and over ) March
- Open (17 and over) Strathspey and reel
- Open (17 and over) Jig
- Open (17 and over) 6/8
Junior events /chanter prize money is 1st – £15 2nd – £12 3rd – £10
- 16 and under – Quick march
- 16 and under – Slow march
- Chanter competition

Come along for a great family day out – featuring the Pipe Band, Solo Piping, Highland Games, Highland Dancing, children’s races, local stalls, duck races and more! The fun starts from 12.30pm onwards. Dancing display at approx 3pm.
Corgarff is a hamlet in Aberdeenshire in the Grampian Mountains. The nearby Corgarff Castle was used as a military barracks in the 18th century.
