The 179th Tomintoul Highland Games took place yesterday, July 16. It was a good day for playing with warm with light cloud cover. Twelve adults played, with eight in the junior Piobaireachd.

There was a touching tribute paid to Patricia Grant who died last year. Patricia had been games secretary for many years and she also organised the Grampian piping league based on the results of the Grampian games.
