Happy New Year and all the best for 2023 to the piping community all over the World! Today we look back to photos from the World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green on August 11, 2012. Field Marshal Montgomery won Grade 1, followed by ScottishPower, Simon Fraser University, Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia, Strathclyde Police and St Laurence O’Toole.
Denny and Dunipace Gleneagles won Grade 2, Grade 3a went to Robert Malcolm Memorial, Grade 3b to Ballybriest, Grade 4A to New Ross and District, Grade 4B to Clogher and District, Juvenile winners were George Watson’s College, and Novice Juvenile was won by Scotia Glenville Pipe Band.
