The Scottish Pipers’ Association Juvenile competition will be held in The National Piping Centre’s Otago Street venue on March 18, 2023. You must be a member of the Scottish Pipers’ Association to enter, and new membership applications can be made here.

There are 12 events in the juvenile competition listed below, and the entry requirements and conditions are as follows:

  • The competition is open to all members of the Scottish Pipers’ Association.
  • Membership is priced at £10 per annum
  • Entry is confined to amateur juveniles who have never played in Open Professional Events
  • Competitors will be confined to either Chanter or Bagpipe events and cannot enter both.
  • Bagpipe Entrants can only play in one age group category – (13 & Under, 15 & Under or 18 & Under)
  • Entries will close on February 17. Late entries cannot be accepted unfortunately.
  • Competitors in events 3-12 should wear full Highland dress.
