The prestigious Captain John A. MacLellan MBE Memorial Dinner will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The venue will be the Waldorf Astoria Caledonian Hotel, in Edinburgh.
Dress code is black tie, numbers are limited and there will be a high demand for tickets. Tickets are £60 each and can be bought on The Eagle Pipers’ Society website here.
Patricia Henderson will judge the event, and the pipers who have agreed to play are as follows:
- Iain Speirs (2022 dinner winner)
- Willie McCallum (2022 Glenfiddich champion)
- Findlay Johnston (winner of the 2022 Premier Grade piobaireachd at the Captain John MacLellan contest run by the Army School)
- Nick Hudson (2022 Northern Meeting Gold Medal Winner)
