The Springbank Invitational took place at the Argyll Arms Hotel, Campbeltown, Argyllshire, on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Fred Morrison was winner of the Piobaireachd competition and Stuart Liddell was the overall winner with a first place in the MSR and a second in the Piobaireachd.
The full list of competitors was: Callum Beaumont, Alasdair Henderson, Finlay Johnston, Fred Morrison, Stuart Liddell, Angus MacColl, Willie McCallum and Iain Speirs. The judges were John Wilson, Robert Barnes and Willie Morrison.
All 6/8 March tunes were written by Campbeltown composers and played as part of tune up process for the piobaireachd.
