Solo Piping results from the Sunbelt Invitational 2023

The second SunBelt Invitational – An Crios Gréine took place on November 11, 2022 in Florida, USA. The overall winner was Bruce Gandy, who beat a top class line up of competitors consisting of Callum Beaumont, Glenn Brown, Alasdair Henderson, Willie McCallum, Angus D. MacColl, Ian K. MacDonald, Donald MacPhee, Connor Sinclair and Alen Tully.

The competition organiser, Eric Stein, worked in partnership with The National Piping Centre to add an amateur competition to the 2023 event and gave two of the ten invites to the winners of CLASP events. The other amateur competitors came from the winners at the Nicol-Brown, the George Sheriff Memorial, Dunedin Highland Games, Grandfather Mountain Games, Loon Mountain Highland Games and Scotland County Highland Games. The overall winner of the amateur events was Tom Cangelosi.
