The RCS Piping Degree Showcase Concert takes place in The National Piping Centre Auditorium on Monday, December 4 at 7pm.
This year’s BMus Piping Degree Showcase concert will gather music from places across Scotland. Each year group has been assigned a locality of Scotland from which to draw their repertoire. Focusing on specific areas and their associated composers, challenges the students to research the links of music to the places of its origin, and delve deep into collections and archives rooted in these places. Across the evening you will hear music drawn from Glasgow, Lewis, Perthshire, Invernesshire, and further afield.
