The National Piping Centre’s Spring Junior Gathering runs at the City Centre venue in McPhater Street, Glasgow. Starting on Monday coming, April 8, these four-day learning events have been designed specifically for young pipers, aged 17 and under, who have made the transition to pipes.
The Junior Gathering runs all day, 9am-4pm, and will give you a taste of all strands of piping and access to expert teachers in each area. Please note that the Junior Gatherings are not suitable for those on the practice chanter or goose. We recommend checking the Weekend Piping Club and 1:1 lessons.
This school option costs £170 per student for the four days.
The participant sign up form can be found here.
The programme will include:
•   1-2-1 lessons with National Piping Centre teachers
•   Ear-training and focus games
•   Individual practice
•   Come and try bellows pipes & whistle
•   Q&As
•   Repertoire classes
•   Maintenance and technique workshops
•   Demonstrations
