The European Pipe Band Championships took place today, August 11, hosted by the Perth Highland Games.

Field Marshal Montgomery won Grade 1, and after third, sixth and fifth placings at the previous three majors, the European result may indicate they hitting their peak one week before the World Pipe Band Championships on August 16 and 17. The full results are below.
