The first day of the Argyllshire Gathering took place yesterday, Wednesday, August 22, with Cameron Drummond winning the Gold Medal and an invite to the Glenfiddich Piping Championship in October.
Alasdair Henderson won his Gold Medal at the Argyllshire Gathering in 2023, and followed up yesterday by winning the Senior Piobaireachd to add to his collection of titles from Oban.
Kyle Cameron won the MacGregor Memorial Piobaireachd which is for pipers below 23 years old, John McDonald won the Silver Medal and Chris Armstrong won the Former Winners MSR.
