On Monday, August 12 at Piping Live! 2024, the R. G. Hardie & Co. Masters Solo Piping Competition was held in The National Piping Centre Auditorium.

The piobaireachd event held throughout the day was won by Finlay Johnston playing Lament for the Earl of Antrim. The evening was for the MSR and had 26 competitors who are pictured below and was won by Willie McCallum.

The overall winner was Alan Bevan, securing him a place in the Glenfiddich Piping Championship this month, and also an invite to the Sun Belt Invitational Competition in Florida.
