Finlay Johnston and Alasdair Henderson are the big winners in London

The Bratach Gorm was held in the Caledonian Club, London on Friday, November 15 and was won by Finlay Johnston. Am Bratach Gorm (The Blue Banner) has a long and distinguished history and is for those pipers who have won a Highland Society of London Gold Medal or the William Gillies Cup at London.

The win means Finlay is the second invitee to next year’s Glenfiddich Championships, joining the recent Glenfiddich winner Callum Beaumont in the 2025 Glenfiddich lineup. The full result was:

The other Scottish Piping Society of London’s annual competitions took place on Saturday, November 16, at the same venue. The overall winner was Alasdair Henderson who joins Callum Beaumont and Finlay Johnston as a Glenfiddich invitee for 2025. The full results were:
