•Gillian Blaney was the Overall Winner of the George Sherriff Invitational Memorial 2024

The George Sherriff Memorial Memorial Invitational is organised by Bob Worrall and was held in Hamilton, Ontario on November 16, 2024. The adjudicators were Peter Aumonier, Mike Cusack and Jim Stack, and Master of Ceremonies was Michael Grey.

Gillian Blaney was the Overall Championship winner and took home the engraved set of MacRae Bagpipes donated by McCallum Bagpipes, the George Sherriff Memorial Invitational banner, the Championship trophy donated by the family of the late George Sherriff, a custom pipe bag donated by Lee and Sons Bagpipes, and $1000 donated by the PPBSO.

Malachi Johannsen was second overall and won an engraved Naill blackwood practice chanter donated by David Naill & Co. Magnus Stone was third and received an RJM blackwood solo pipe chanter donated by Roddy MacLeod. Liam Forrest was fourth and won an R. G. Hardie blackwood solo pipe chanter donated by R. G. Hardie & Co. Colin Forrest was fifth and received an Naill blackwood solo pipe chanter donated by David Naill & Co.

    All nine competitors received a voucher from Bagpipemusic.com and a gift certificate for reeds from Donald MacPhee.
