Here are the results from the Caritas Banner competition held yesterday, November 24th, at George Watson’s College, Edinburgh. It was a great day of piobaireachd with 55 pipers entered and some of the very best in the business on the pen: Derek Fraser; Ronnie McShannon; Jack Taylor, Euan Anderson; Alan Forbes and Iain Speirs.
The event was kindly sponsored by the Piobaireachd Society and Kintail Bagpipes.
The winner was Fraser Hamilton who received the coveted Caritas Banner and a beautiful engraved sterling silver practice chanter from Kintail Bagpipes. Prizes were presented by Vice President of The Piobaireachd Society, Derek Fraser.
