The National Piping Centre is bringing you two fantastic gatherings at The National Piping Centre, Glasgow, that have been designed to give a fantastic social learning experience.
Get yourself and your pipes ready for the start of the UK summer piping season with this weekend of piping tuition! Join some of the best in pipe bands, as well as the National Piping Centre’s world class teachers for workshops, masterclasses and practical sessions to get you set for the season.
Teachers on this school will include: Willie McCallum, Ewan Henderson, Finlay MacDonald and Andrew Bova.
Starting from Thursday 24th April – Saturday 26th April, this will be a jam-packed two days of lessons and social events. The programme will be:
- Thurs 24th April: Opening Night Session – drop in to start the school with a session.
- Friday 25th: With a full day of programming from 9am – 5pm, you will have workshops, band sessions, maintenance sessions and more. Join us in the evening for a piping pub quiz.
- Saturday 26th: The second full day programme to get you set for the season. Join us in the evening for a concert.

There will be no online attendance option for this school this year.

The Autumn Gathering
Be part of The NPC Autumn Gathering in-person at The National Piping Centre this October.
This fantastic four days of learning has been developed to make this an immersive, fun experience. Across the four days you will have teaching from our World Class instructors. As well as this there will be masterclass workshops, as well as group teaching and performing as a pipe corps. There will also be hands on workshops, practice time, group teaching and more. The timetable will also include social activities such as a piping pub quiz, whisky tasting and instructor recital.
