The annual Dunfermline Children’s Gala will take place on Sunday, June 28. The Gala is for all of Dunfermline’s primary school kids, and for well over a century the children of Dunfermline have paraded through the city centre and into Pittencrieff Park for an afternoon of fun and games.
The parade is made up of the 16 schools, punctuated with bands and street entertainers, and the organisers would like to increase the number of bands in the parade.
The theme of the Gala this year is Carnival, and there’s lots of pictures to show what the day looks like on their website.
