The New Zealand Pipe Band Championships started yesterday, March 6, and nine hours worth of pipe band music and commentary is free to rewatch on youtube now. The recording covers the full competition for many of the grades, but if you only have a short time to dip in, the Grade 3 Medley starts at 6 hours with Hamilton Caledonian Pipe Band and finishes about 1 hour and 40 minutes later with Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band.

The second day of competition gets underway today, which is Friday night March 7, 8pm UK time, but is March 8, at 9am in New Zealand. The second day begins with all bands taking part in the Street March events followed by Grade 2 MSR, Grade 2 Medley, Grade 1 MSR and Grade 1 Medley running consecutively.
