The Field Marshal Montgomery’s quartet, consisting of Pipe Sergeant Ben Duncan, Piers Dover, Ruairidh Brown and Sandy Cameron, beat strong competition from 78th Fraser Highlander Pipe Band, Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band, Inveraray & District Pipe Band, Peoples Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia and Police Scotland & Federation.
The G1 Reeds International Quartet Competition took place on August 12 in the sold out Strathclyde Suite of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
