Results from the George Sherriff Memorial 2025

The 29th George Sherriff Memorial Memorial Invitational was held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The event is organised by Bob Worrall, this years adjudicators were Sean McKeown, Chris Armstrong and Matt MacIsaac, and Master of Ceremonies was Peter Aumonier.

Abby Long was the overall champion winning a set of prize MacRae pipes from McCallum Bagpipes. There were three different event winners with Abby winning the Piobaireachd, Alex Pavlovic winning the MSR and Magnus Stone winning the 6/8 Marches.

The tunes played by the 11 players in all three events are below. Put November 21, 2026 in your calendars for contest’s 30th Anniversary!
