The National Piping Centre is offering an extensive range of evening classes that start in the week beginning January 12, 2026 and run for 8 weeks. The full list of classes are below, with all levels of player catered for whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced.
There are also classes for Highland pipers who want to transfer their musical skills to smallpipes or whistle, and also online class offerings for all levels of Highland pipers. The Highland pipes classes will be taught by Alistair Williams, Calum Craib, Danny Hutcheson and Sophie Stringer.
Drummers are offered tuition at all levels on the snare, tenor or bass drum, and Gaelic language and Gaelic song classes are available if you wish to connect the language of the Highlands and Islands to the music and song of Scotland.
