The 30th Pipe Major Donald MacLeod MBE Memorial Competition featuring eight of the world’s top pipers, takes place this Friday, April 3rd from 9:30am to 6pm.
Organised by the Lewis and Harris Piping Society, the competition venue is the Caladh Inn in Stornoway, but you can still enjoy the music and atmosphere live from the comfort of your own home. Online event tickets are available here.
If you wish to attend the competition in person, you can just pay at the door at the Caladh Inn, James Street, Stornoway. Admission is £15 and under 18s have free entry.
Competitors this year are Callum Beaumont, Ben Duncan, Alasdair Henderson, Finlay Johnson, Steven Leask, Stuart Liddell, Angus MacColl and Brodie Watson-Massey.
