The first Maket Collective Recital Series event took place at the National Piping Centre on April 25, 2026, with Sarah Muir, Anna Kummerlöw, Eireann Iannetta-MacKay, Eala McElhinney and Hazel Whyte. Each piper performed for 15 minutes and spoke to MC, Hannah Rarity and their individual performance.
The event was recorded for release on TradTV, as the Maket Collective creates new content to share with the world, promoting and amplifying the voice and talent of women in piping.
The Maket Collective wants women and girls to find empowerment, perspective and confidence through piping and drumming, advancing their own success and potential. This event and recordings are to provide inspiration and connection within the community.
