The British Pipe Band Championships took place on Saturday, May 30, at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, near Edinburgh. Over 125 bands from across the grades descended on the venue for the first major championship of the 2026 season, with Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia claiming the Grade 1 title under overcast skies.

We live in an era where nearly every moment is captured and shared, many performances are now available to watch on YouTube channels, including The Big Rab Show, and a few others.
