The funeral service of Dugald Brown MacNeill will be held on Friday 3 July at 11.30am at St Columba’s Church, Midton Road, Ayr, and then afterwards at the Abbotsford Hotel, Corsehill Road, Ayr.
There will be a private family only cremation before the 11.30 church service, but everyone will be made most welcome at the church service and then at the Abbotsford.
Pipers are encouraged to bring their pipes and the plan is to have an impromptu massed band at the hotel afterwards, and perhaps at the care home where Dugald was looked after – quite close by the hotel.
