Solo piping results from the Aberfeldy Games 2026

A fine, dry day at Aberfeldy although a little breezy.  With a good number of entries in both the junior and senior events – 13 pipers playing in each category – a full day of piping was on offer.

Junior overall winner was Morla Bruce who took home the newly presented Birl Cup.  A fine performance of Clan MacNab’s Salute earned her first place in the Piobaireachd, and this was followed up with secondin MSR and third in the Slow Air & Jig.

Magnus Stone won the MacDougall Trophy, placing first in Piobaireachd with Lament for Earl of Antrim, third in MSR before returning to winning form with his Slow Air & Jig.
