Results from day one of the Argyllshire Gathering 2026

The first day of the Argyllshire Gathering took place yesterday, Wednesday, August 26, 2026 with Sean McKeown from Canada winning the Gold Medal and an invite to the Glenfiddich Piping Championship in October.

Greg Wilson from New Zealand won his Gold Medal at the Argyllshire Gathering in 2006, and followed up yesterday by winning the Senior Piobaireachd to add to his collection of titles from Oban.

Alex Pavlovic won the MacGregor Memorial Piobaireachd which is for pipers below 23 years old, Zephan Knichel won the Silver Medal and Finlay Johnston won the Former Winners MSR.
