The R.G. Hardie & Co. Bagpipes Masters competition has been moved to a Sunday this year, and will be August 9, 2026. Entry restricted to Gold medalists and those eligible for the Former Winners MSR at Oban and Inverness. Entries close on June 25, 2026 and should be sent to Wilson Brown at the masters@thepipingcentre.co.uk.
A new feature this year is at the conclusion of the contest and before the prize giving the 2026 U18 Overall Junior Champion Piper at the NPC contest in February, Charlie Mack, will be giving a short recital. We hope as many of the spectators as possible will remain to hear Charlie and congratulate the prize winners.
