
Pipe Sergeant Alasdair Henderson of Inveraray & District Pipe Band won the R. G. Hardie & Co. Masters Solo Piping Competition on Sunday evening, August 9 at Piping Live! 2026, winning the piobaireachd event and placing second in the MSR. The win gives Alasdair a place in the Glenfiddich Piping Championship in October of this year.
Connor Sinclair was the winner of the MSR, and was the third recipient of the Willie Beveridge Memorial Trophy.
