The new look Piping Live! festival site is attracting the crowds to the ampitheatre in front of the National Piping Centre, with the music and sunshine (and pints) creating the perfect summertime vibes.

One of the long standing events of the Piping Live! week is the G1 Reeds International Quartets Competition and last night, Tuesday 11th, seen the quartet from Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia win the competition. The quartet was led by Pipe Sergeant Bradley Parker and the announcement of their win got a rapturous response from the audience.
