Helensburgh Solo Piping Competition 2025

The Helensburgh Competition takes place on the Sunday before Inveraray Games. The competitions are:
1. Open Adult Piobaireachd – submit 3 tunes (Prizes 1st to 4th with the James Auld Trophy and cash prizes)
2&3. Open Adult March & S/R – submit 3 tunes for March & 3 tunes for S/R (Prizes 1 st to 4th with Rosneath trophies for both competitions and cash prizes)
4. Open Juvenile March & S/R – 17yrs & under – 2 competitions (Prizes 1st to 3rd)
5. Confined to HCCPB March & S/R – 17 yrs & under – 2 competitions (Prizes 1st to 3rd)
6. Open Chanter 14 yrs and under – (Prizes 1st to 3rd)
7. Confined to HCCPB chanter 14yrs & under – Prizes 1st to 3rd) CHANTER START TIME IS 1pm FOLLOWED BY JUVENILE COMPETITIONS

Helensburgh Solo Piping Competition 2024 took place on Sunday, July 14 at Victoria Halls, Helensburgh. The judges were Barry Donaldson, Peter Hunt, Roddy Livingstone and Willie Morrison.
The competition was sponsored by James Auld, Funeral Directors, Helensburgh; Campbells Air Conditioning; Robert MacIntyre and Dave Kinsman Rosneath, and HCCPB. Stewards were Skye Campbell Birnie, Alasdair Huxtable, Evelyn Snith and Roddy Gardner.
